Location and hours of operation:

iCare Interactive Childcare is a medium sized childcare center located on the Northwest corner of 49th Street and Kiwanis Avenue in southwestern Sioux Falls.  We are in easy walking distance of Sertoma Park, the Butterfly House, the Outdoor Campus, Caille Branch Library, and the bike trails.  We provide childcare for children from 4 weeks of age until they enter kindergarten.  Our hours of operation are 6:00am until 6:30pm Monday through Friday.  We serve breakfast, lunch and snacks in between.  All of our meals are prepared onsite. 

Philosophy:

Our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of each child entrusted to our care.  Our second priority is to our parents, maintaining an open line of communication regarding the wellbeing and development of their children.  We feel that children will thrive in an environment that provides them with safe surroundings, stimulating toys and activities, encouragement, and caring teachers.  Our center is divided into 4 classrooms:  Infants, Mobile Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool. Children are promoted to the next class based on their abilities, rather than their chronological ages.

Added Benefits:

Some of the benefits we offer for our parents are live webcams, a secure fingerprint identification entry, convenient hours of operation, and year round classes for Toddlers and Preschool.  Our staff members are provided continuous training in child development, education, and appropriate programming.  We also provide diapers and wipes for children that are not yet potty trained.  State childcare assistance is accepted.
